PURPOSE:To improve the durability of an elastic ring packing by installing a ring member made of swelling polymer into the cavity inside the elastic ring packing body and forming a cut opened port communicating to the inside, onto the packing body. CONSTITUTION:A vacant part 2 is formed inside an elastic ring packing body 1, and a cut opened port 3 communicating to the inside is formed. A ring 4 made of swelling polymer is arranged in the vacant part. When the elasticity of the elastic ring packing body is deteriorated, the cut opened port opens a little, and liquid tends to intrude, but the ring 4 in the vacant part swells, and sealing performance is maintained. |
