<p>The metal strips, forming the hose (1) can be transversely shifted parallel to the hose axis. In a longitudinal section (3) of the hose the strip profile is so shaped as to prevent the transverse shift. Preferably the hose has a rectangular cross section, the shift preventing section being formed by one wall. The opposite hose wall may contain trasverse shiftable strips. In order to prevent this shift, one long edge of the strip profile forms a longitudinal groove for retaining an angled rim of an adjacent profile. The groove width may be the angled rim thickness. Along the remaining two hose walls the strip profile may change continuously to give shiftable and unshiftable shape.</p> |
