PURPOSE:To perform an overlapping recording with the reversing of a recording paper through a friction without requiring any sprocket mechanism, by braking a winding core having an ink paper wound while the recording paper is being reversed utilizing friction between the recording paper and a roller. CONSTITUTION:With a thermal head 30 being left lowered, a platen roller 1 is reversely driven to reverse the portion L finished with recording in the first color of a recording paper 62 in order to make a recording in the second color. While the recording paper 62 is being reversed through friction between the recording paper 62 and the roller 1, the winding core 24 is braked to prevent the used ink paper portion wound on the core 24 from reversion. |
