PURPOSE:To improve the use efficiency of a copying machine by interrupting continuous copying to execute interruptive copying and completing original continuous copying after interruptive copying and making it possible to interrupt interruptive copying. CONSTITUTION:If an urgent request of interruptive copying occurs when originals whose number is set by a ten-key 21 and is displayed on a display part 25 are copied continuously, a stop key 23 is depressed to stop temporarily this copying, and a 1/R key 22 is depressed to light it. Copy information (the size, the copy end number displayed on a display part 26, etc.) of copying executed at the present is saved in an incorporated RAM, and copy information of interruptive copying is inputted by the ten-key 21 and is displayed on the display part 25, and a copy key 24 is depressed to start interruptive copying. Copy information of interrupted continuous copying is displayed automatically on display parts 25 and 26 after interruptive copying, and the copy key 24 is depressed again to copy left originals. Thus, the copying operation is simplified to improve the use efficiency of the copying machine. |
