PURPOSE:To convey a recording paper fed to a printable position along a platen roller without use of a sprocket or the like, by winding an ink paper on a part of the circumference of the platen roller while being imparted with a tension. CONSTITUTION:Guide pins 37 and 40 are lowered to press an ink paper 22 against a roller 1, a recording paper 62 is inserted and a tension is applied between two rolls 23 and 24. A thermal head 30 is lowered to press the ink paper 22 and the recording paper 62 against the roller 1 and then, the roller 1 is rotated in the direction of the arrow to convey the ink paper 22 together with the recording paper 62. |
