PURPOSE:To enable to bring the temperature rapidly to approx. the setting temperature, by a method wherein when the temperature of a semiconductor laser is largely different from the setting temperature, a Peltier element which heats or cools the laser is sent and driven at the 100% duty. CONSTITUTION:The temperature sensitive element outputs from a thermistor 14 are compared with a lamp wave form L at a comparator 18. When the temperature sensitive output becomes higher than the setting value F, a photo-coupler 38 is connected, the reference value of a comparator 12 becomes -V lower than the lowest value of a lamp wave form L. As to the output of the comparator 12, the logical value of which becomes always 1.0, and as to the output of the comparator 18, the logical value becomes always 0. The outputs of inverters 28, 30 becoming 1.0 by the logical value, the cooling current I1 is applied at the duty 100%, and the laser is cooled continuously. When the temperature sensitive output is lower than the set value G, a photo-coupler 40 is connected, and the reference value E of the comparator 12 becomes +V, a heating current I2 is applied at the duty 100% to the Peltier element 32. |
