<p>PURPOSE:To obtain Fe(OH)3 economically by adjusting pH of suspended and precipitated Fe(OH)2 to a specified range by neutralizing a soln. contg. Fe<+2>, and oxidizing Fe(OH)2 by oxidizing in a moment from a nozzle part of the jet rator. CONSTITUTION:A soln. of inorg. acid contg. dissolved Fe<+2> is neutralized with several kinds of alkali soln, then pH of the mixed phase liquid contg. generated suspended and precipitated Fe(OH)2 is adjusted to 5.0-10.0, which is decided corresponding to relative relation between the kind and content of metals except Fe contained in the feed liquid and generated Fe(OH)2. The liq. is then ejected through a nozzle section of a jet rator. >=60% of Fe<+2> in the feed liquid is oxidized almost momentarily to Fe(OH)3 by the cavitation effect of the ejected water.</p> |
