PURPOSE:To provide the titled medium having high sensitivity and capable of being easily laminated, comprising a pair of electrodes for impressing a voltage, an electrolyte layer provided between the electrodes, and a recording layer having a specified recording part capable of forming a color on penetration of ions from the electrolyte layer when being impressed with the voltage. CONSTITUTION:A reflective layer (e.g., Al) 5 having excellent reflectance, a heat-absorbing layer 6 and a transparent electrode (e.g., ITO) 1 are sequentially provided on a glass plate 7 by sputtering, then the recording layer (e.g., tungsten trioxide) 2 is provided thereon by vapor deposition while maintaining the temperature of the electrode 1 at about 60 deg.C, and the electrolyte layer (e.g., zirconia) 3 and a counter electrode (e.g., a thin metallic film) 4 are provided thereon to obtain the objective recording medium. |
