PURPOSE:To improve drying effect by providing a drying nozzle on a gate type car washing machine by varying an air blowing angle to a car body according to the body shape so that cleaning water drops blown are gone to one direction. CONSTITUTION:A top nozzle 2 is mounted on a front portion of a frame body 1 via a parallel link 11 and lifted or fallen by a lifting mechanism 12 actuated upon a detected signal of a car height sensor 10. And a blowing port 15 is designed to be positioned at a constant distance from the car body surface during drying process. The height of the top nozzle 2 is sensed by a rotary encoder 13 interlocking with the parallel link 11 and fed back to the lifting mechanism 12. As the drying air blown from the blowing port 15 is blown to the car body A as shown in the figure, cleaning water drops B attached on the surface of the body A are made to be splashed to a constant direction as in d position. |
