PURPOSE:To improve the keying efficiency of data input by giving a specific code to an optional column of format parameters previously and inputting data comparison table information and a format program selection number to a latch. CONSTITUTION:The data input device consists of a keyboard 1, control part 2, data buffer 3, display device 4, and output medium 5, and data from the keyboard 1 are inputted to a key code buffer 6 previously. At this time, some of format programs 9 is selected according to the output of a selector latch 8 for the format programs 9 and the contents of said buffer are converted into a data code by a code conversion part 14 according to the contents of the column corresponding to the data, so that the data code is inputted to a column buffer 7. If said column in the format program has the specific code, it is inputted to a data comparision table 10 and checked, thereby switching the program to some of the format program according to the check result. |
