A microcontroller (a) receives signals from driver controls (b-h) and from detectors of window motor current (l,m) and uses them to prevent situations dangerous to passengers or equipment. In the case of an order to close a window which has a passenger's arm through it the window is stopped, then lowered 2-3 cm allowing the arm to be withdrawn. For seven seconds open commands are obeyed but close commands are ignored. |
