Electronic payment terminal in means of transport and points of sale. It has a microprocessor 1 connected to: a smart card reader 11, a magnetic tape reader 10, a printer 16, an alphanumeric and functional keyboard 6, an optical display 18, a client optical display 19, and a removable non-volatile memory 3: all this in order that in the removable non-volatile memory there may be stored the list of cards not authorised for operation by means of which the microprocessor 1, after comparing the data of the card with that included in the list, stores the authorised operations in the memory 3. The removable non-volatile memory 3 is capable of being connected to a terminal station and/or the bank branches in order to effect the transaction of the operations effected and to update the list of cards not authorised to operate. <IMAGE>
