In a device for superimposing two images, having a display (20, 21) and an image processing device (1) connected thereto, a transparent liquid-crystal display device is provided as the display. Arranged on its one side is a device (L2, R2) for inputting the first image. Provided on its other side is a plotter (L1, R1) which is coordinate-controlled by the image processing device. In one application of such a device as an evaluation unit in stereophotogrammetry, the device for inputting the first image is designed to receive a first stereo image from the image processing device. The plotter provided on the other side of the recording medium is constructed with the image processing device to represent manually selectable images, patterns or characters. <IMAGE>
