PURPOSE:To obtain a distinct picture image contg. no interference fringes by forming a laminated photoconductive layers comprising a layer contg. amorphous Si and amorphous Ge, and a layer contg. Si but contg. no Ge on the surface of a substrate where many projected parts superposed with subpeaks on the primary peak on the surface. CONSTITUTION:Many minute projections formed by superposing a subpeak on a primary peak having smaller diameter l than the diameter L of spot of irradiated light are provided on the surface of a conductive substrate 1,001, such as Al alloy, etc. The subpeak may be bisymmetric or asymmetric about the primary peak. They may be easily formed by machining so as that same projections are arranged periodically. For example, projections are formed with 100-150mu width and ca. 1.5mu difference between indented parts and protruded parts as illustrated in the figure. A laminated photoconductive layer 1,000 comprising a layer 1,002 contg. Ge in Si ununiformly in the thickness direction and a layer 1,003 of Si contg. no Ge, either one or both being incorporated with an amorphous material regulating the electroconductivity such as P or B ununiformly in the thickness direction, on the surface, and a layer 1,005 serving as a protecting layer and a reflection preventing layer is provided thereon. By this method, a photoreceiving member generating no interference fringes is obtd. |
