PURPOSE:To certainly transport in holding state the sheets of paper in accumulated state by shifting each position of a positioning member and a guide member to each prescribed position, linked with the contact operation of the second transport member which can be attached and separated from the first transport member, thus accumulating the successively transported sheets of paper in order. CONSTITUTION:An accumulation part 83 is formed by temporarily accumulating the part between the opposed surfaces of a transportation belt 21n (the first transport member) and a transportation belt 21i which can be attached and separated (the second transport member). Further, in the accumulation part 83, a leaf spring 84 as an elastic guide member for guiding the paper money P carried-in by an accumulating vane wheel 52 and a stopper 85 as a positioning member for regulating the position of the top edge of the paper money P guided into the accumulation part 83 are provided. When a movable transport unit 77 lowers, the upper edge part 85a of the stopper 85 is pushed-down, and the stopper 85 is turned in the direction of arrow C. Then, also the leaf spring 84 retreats in the direction of arrow E, and the paper money P can be transported to a delivery port. |
