PURPOSE:To effect accurate and rapid continuous axial and peripheral measurements of dimensions, by allowing a measuring head to travel by installing free to rotate a measuring stand on the axis of a passenger compartment and measuring the dimensions by applying the laser-Doppler effect. CONSTITUTION:A measuring stand 16 made free to rotate by a driving means 31 in a passenger compartment dimensions of which being subjected to measurements, and a measuring head 14 is allowed for displacement of it. On this measuring head 14, a telescopic coupling 24 adjustable in the radial direction is connected. Further, on the measuring stand 16, a laser head 17 is mounted, emitting a laser beam in axial and radial directions applying a rotating mirror 25, etc. And, an one end of the stand 16, an axial reflecting mirror 18 is installed and on the extreme end of the telescopic coupling 24, a radial divection reflecting mirror 23 is installed and by allowing the laser beam in each direction to be reflected, axial and radial direction dimensions are measured and recorded by axial direction interferometer 21 and radial direction interferometer 22 located on the measuring head 14. |
