The distributor has a hopper and two or more contra-rotating spreader rotors on vertical axes. The material is fed to the rotors eccentrically to their axees. The rotors (3,4) are shaped and driven so that each tool scatters over an equal sector. The rotors have scatter blades and are mounted in a mirror-image pattern in relation to a central plane. The blades are offset, typically for half the angle between successive blades on one rotor.
