The invention relates to a garden shed/greenhouse for accommodating garden tools, plant pots, fertilisers and the like which has a tool part, having walls which are essentially impermeable to light and being of a height suitable for a person, and a greenhouse part which adjoins the tool part at the top and is composed of transparent side walls and roof walls. A plant table which projects into the area of the tool part and leaves free a central access opening is provided in the region of the terminating edge between the tool part and the greenhouse part.
