<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piston-type compressor for reducing the occurrence of pressure pulsation of discharge gas without increasing size by a method, wherein in the press-down part of a rear housing, a space at its internal part is utilized as a muffler chamber. SOLUTION: In a discharge chamber 27 on the rear side, a center muffler chamber 39 is partitioned in a press-down part 37. The discharge chamber 27 on the rear side communicates with the center muffler chamber 39 via a communication hole 40 formed in the press-down part 37. Thus, a flow passage for discharge refrigerant gas running from each port 32b to an external refrigerant circuit via the communication hole 40 and a center muffler chamber 39 is specified in the discharge chamber 27 on the rear side.</p> |
