PURPOSE: To reduce power consumption of an IC for a radio receiver by connecting an operating current line of 1st and 2nd circuits in series with a power supply and connecting an output line of a constant voltage circuit to a connecting point of the series circuit. CONSTITUTION: An operating current line of an amplifier 11 and an operating current line of a local oscillation circuit 13 are connected in series to a power source in a front end circuit of an FM reception circuit. Moreover, a constant voltage circuit 15 is connected to its connecting point. Thus, the two circuits 11, 13 are operated by an operating current required for one circuit thereby reducing the entire current consumption. Even when there is any difference between an operating current I11 of the amplifier 11 and an operating current I13 of a local oscillation circuit 13, the differenceΔI is absorbed by the constant voltage circuit 15. Thus, both of the operating currents I11, I13 are selected to be optimum currents.
