The array comprises a high dielectric film base secured to a structure between a read/write transducer head and read/write circuitry. Several commonly connected electrical traces are located on a high dielectric film base and interconnected at terminal ends of it to comprise a signal conductor. A second electrical trace is located on the high dielectric film base in an elongated planar interleaved relation with the adjacent electrical traces and has a second signal conductor. The two conductors form a single signal transmission line which connect read and write elements of the transducer head to the read/write circuitry.
