Driving torque generated from a motor is transferred by 3 chains. The frist one (1) is connected to an image fixer and a paper supplier; the second one (1') is connected to the electromagnetic clutch assembly of an optical system, an image developer, a drum, and a cleaner. The electro-magnetic clutch assembly of the optical system and the wire-rope drum are separate, and are driven by the third chain (1'').
