PURPOSE:To enable Kanji character graphic display without adding any special hardware by providing a Kanji character processing program in system ROM of CRT display device, in an electric discharge machining device provided with CRT display and numerical control function. CONSTITUTION:Data 70 fed from a serial line not shown in this figure are classified into normal data, graphic data and Kanji character data by a various data processing unit 60b-1 in a system ROM 60b, and fed respectively to a normal data processing unit 60b-5, a graphic data processing unit 60b-4 and a Kanji character data processing unit 60b-2 and processed. Kanji character data are changed into Kanji code by referring a Kanji character pack 60b-3 of 16X16 dot by the Kanji character processing unit 60b-2 to call corresponding Kanji characters, and the Kanji characters called are fed to the graphic processing unit 60b- 4 to be displayed in Kanji form by using CRT 48b. Then Kanji character display can be made without using any special Kanji character display hardware. |
