PURPOSE:To prevent missing data in a store and forward exchange network by preparing a transmission end signal waiting time counter to a sender store and forward exchange and providing a transmission end signal transmitting means to an incoming store and forward exchange. CONSTITUTION:The sender store and forward exchange 2 stores a received data in a storage device 3, transmits it to a relay store and forward exchange A4 and starts a transmission end wait time counter 10. The relay store and forward exchange A4 stores the received data to a storage device 5 and the data is transited to the incoming side store and forward exchange 7. If any fault takes place in the relay storage and forward exchange A4 and it is impossible to extract the data stored in the storage device 5, after a prescribed time is elapsed, the transmission end wait time counter 10 of the sender store and forward exchange 2 is activated, the sender store and forward exchange 2 transmits the data stored in the storage device 3 to a relay store and forward exchange B8, resets the transmission end wait time counter 10 for restart.
