PURPOSE:To prevent cloud toner from contacting directly the sensor plate of an oscillation sensor and to detect accurately only the amount of toner in a bottle by forming a thin film covering the surface of the sensor plate. CONSTITUTION:An opening is so formed in the wall part 3 of a toner recovery bottle 1 that the tip part of the oscillation sensor 5 including its sensor plate 6 is inserted with a slight clearance. When the sensor 5 is set on the bottle 1, the thin film 7 is abutted on the opening 4 and the sensor 5 is pressed in with the plate 6 up. At this time, the thin film 7 slacks slightly forming a space with the surface of the plate 6. When the thin film 7 is pressed by toner, the inside air is discharged to press the plate 6 through the thin film 7, stopping its oscillations. Therefore, a fullness informing signal is outputted only when the bottle 1 is charged with a specific amount of toner. |
