PURPOSE:To obtain the title guide member capable of making smoother sliding contact with printing wires, by providing the guide member with guide holes by a pin comprising a shaft part and an enlarged part and finished with sufficient smoothness. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of guide holes 30a-30i provided in the guide member 10 are provided in a continuous form, with the center of each of the holes 30a- 30i being located on an axis X passing through the center of a surface 31 of the member 10 which surface fronts on a printing paper. Arcuate parts with a radius of R1 of adjacent ones of the holes 30a-30i are smoothly connected to each other by an arcuate part with a radius of R2 (<R1). The inner wall surface of the guide hole 30 is formed in a cylindrical shape with a uniform radius of curvature on the side of the tip part of the printing wire passed through the hole 30 in the direction of from a surface 33 toward the surface 31. Of the hole 30, the part on the side of a base end part of the wire is so shaped that the radius of curvature thereof is gradually increased in the direction of from the surface 31 toward the surface 33. |
