PURPOSE:To prevent the distortion, deformation, etc. of the surface of a dial body in the stage of fixing a setting character to a dial by inserting the led of the setting character into the leg hole of the dial body and fixing the character and the dial body by using an adhesive agent. CONSTITUTION:The dial for a timepiece is formed by coating the adhesive agent to the rear of the setting character 21 pressfitted and fixed with a setting character body 22 having a shell construction and a setting leg 20 having a solid construction, inserting the leg part into the leg hole 16a of the dial body 16 and fixing the character 21 and the body 16 by the adhesive agent 17. The adverse influence is not given to the surface of the dial body and the distortion, deformation, etc. are obviated by the above-mentioned constitution in the stage of fixing the character to the dial. |
