PURPOSE:To detect a measuring force simultaneously without using a separate body of sensor by detecting a measuring force based on the phase difference between the driving signal of a step motor and the position signal of a stable point and the frequency of the driving signal. CONSTITUTION:The load of a step motor 10, i.e., measuring force is detected by a measuring force comparator 48 and the output signal is transmitted to a controlling part 46, based on the phase difference between the driving signal of the output of a phase difference detecting circuit 44 and the position signal of a stable point and the driving frequency inputted from a controlling part 46. The controlling part 46 outputs a controlling signal to a driving signal generating circuit 40 according to the deviation from the target value of a measuring force and also generates a pulse signal for counting corresponding to the rotary angle of the step motor 10, namely, the displacement of a spindle 22 according to the driving signal. The pulse signal thereof is counted by a counter 50 and the displacement of the spindle 22 is found.
