PURPOSE:To form an easily manufacturing loop type heat pipe system solar water heater without providing larger opening for installation of a heat exchanger by a structure wherein both the end parts of the heat exchanger are provided near each other and at the same time connected with each other by means of a bypass pipe and arranged in inclination ascending from both the end parts respectively. CONSTITUTION:Both the end parts of a condensing heat exchanger 9, which is installed on the bottom surface in a hot water storage tank 2, are provided near each other and connected with each other by means of a bypass pipe 10 and at the same time arranged in inclination ascending from both the end parts. The vapor of working fluid evaporating at boil in a heat collector 1 ascends through a flow pipe 4. The vapor, which condenses and liquefies at the upper half portion of the condensing heat exchanger 9, flows down by gravity through the bypass pipe 10 and return pipe 6 back to the heat collector 1. On the other hand, the vapor, which condenses and liquefies at the lower half portion of the heat exchanger 9 flows down as it is by gravity through the return pipe 6 back to the heat collector 1. Accordingly, the condensate flows down not in one direction but in two directions. However the heat quantity carried is the same as that flowing down in one direction. In addition, the heat exchanger can be easily inserted in the hot water storage tank without making the opening of the hot water storage tank larger. |
