STEAM TURBINE NOZZLE BLADE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME

PURPOSE:To prevent a nozzle blade from erosion due to fine solid grains in steam, by forming a nickel film having fine grains harder than nickel dispersed on the nozzle blade surface. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle blade 13 secured fixedly to a nozzle box 12 is immersed in a coating process container 21 containing Cr3C2 powder 23 mixed with plating liquid 22 consisting nickel salt and hypophosphite salt to be subjected to non-electrolytic plating. Thus, a nickel film having Cr3C2 harder than nickel dispersed is formed on the surface of the nozzle blade 13 so that the nozzle blade can be prevented from erosion due to fine solid grains in steam.
