PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel device for internal combustion engine to well serve for the case in which different sorts of fuels stored in a plurality of fuel tanks are used in changing-over, capable of suppressing a return of the surplus fuel in the engine to a wrong tank. SOLUTION: As the fuel of internal combustion engine 1, LPG stored in an LPG tank 9 and gasoline stored in a gasoline tank 10 are used in changing- over. The surplus fuel not supplied to the engine 1 is sent out to a pump side return passage 14 from a high pressure fuel pump 12. The pump side return passage 14, an LPG return passage 16 leading to the LPG tank 9, and a gasoline return passage 17 leading to the gasoline tank 10 are connected with a tank selector valve 15. In accordance with the fuel which the engine 1 uses, the tank selector valve 15 is driven under control so that the surplus fuel (LPG or gasoline) is returned to the proper tank. |
