<p>PURPOSE:To omit artificial switch setting operation and to elminate erroneous setting of a switch by adding a special code. CONSTITUTION:Necessary read-only memory element is mounted on a printed substrate of a system that uses a read-only memory element and energizing is started. Basing on a code 1A that confirms mounting of special code 1 added to the read-only memory element, in the case where the read-only memory element is mounted, judgement is made as to whether the place of mounting is to be designated or not basing on a function defining code 1B, and then judgement is made as to whether the place of mounting designated by a place of mounting designating code 1C concides or not with the place where the read-only memory element actually mounted. As a special code is added to the read-only memory element, it is not necessary to provide a device discriminating switch, and separate defining of operation function becomes possible.</p> |
