The invention relates to the construction of gymnasiums in which are located, in a single hall, with small dimensions and a height beneath the beams which conforms to standards: jumping areas (pits), trampoline and all equipment necessary for training and competitive gymnastics, according to current regulations, for men and women, for simultaneous exercising. Minimum dimensions of the area for performing the gymnastic movements are 40 m x 23 m, with a performing area 1 of 11 m x 12 m and a performing area 2 of 12 m x 12 m; dimensions of 41 m x 23 m, which are extended to 44 m x 24 m for more ease when the two performing areas are 12 m x 12 m. Depending on the use of the hall, the height beneath the beams can vary from 6 m in a training hall to 7 m and 9 m for a competition hall. <IMAGE>
