PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposer capable of preventing the leak of noise from a drain port at the time of grinding of garbage and usable pleasantly because of a reduced operation sound. SOLUTION: In the disposer equipped with the disposer body connected to the drain port of a sink S equipped with a mixing water cock 50 and having a drain port as a garbage charging port 10b and a mesh tray 5A provided to the charging port 10b in a detachable manner and having apertures 5a permitting the water supplied from a water cock to pass, the opening area of the apertures 5a of the mesh tray 5A is set so as to store the water supplied from the water cock. The open area of the mesh tray 5A is set to L1>L2 when the flow rate of water supplied from the water cock is set to L1 and the flow rate of water passing through the apertures 5a of the mesh tray is set to L2 and the apertures 5a are closed by stored water W. |
