The present invention relates to an apparatus-support assembly, in particular for computer-aided and/or audio-visual teaching. The assembly comprises a console (bracket) 50 which supports, in a pivoting manner about respective horizontal axes A-A and B-B, a shelf 70 serving as a worktop in the use position, as well as a protective cover serving as an anti-reflection screen in the deployed position.
