PURPOSE:To reduce overhead due to the re-execution by storing the data same as the input data in an image data segment simultaneously with the storage of said input data in a main memory, and using the data stored in the image data segment as the saving data. CONSTITUTION:An image segment serving as a back-up memory for input data is allocated to a main memory 2 with a program and in the 1:1 correspondence to an original input data store segment (real segment) before a vector arithmetic is executed. The correspondence between the real segment and the image segment is registered to an address association array 20 having an associative memory structure. Then a block change bit group 23 is reset. In a normal mode, the read/write is carried out only with the real segment. While the contents equal to those of the corresponding segment to be stored are written to the image segment in a set-up mode. |
