PURPOSE:To inhibit the generation of an alarm for a temperature fault by detecting the change of the set temperature as well as the difference between the set temperature and the temperature of a part to be controlled and deciding the alarm stop time. CONSTITUTION:A temperature controller is provided with a temperature setting device 1, a part 3 to be controlled at a set temperature, a sensor 5 that detects the temperature of the part 3, and a control part 7 including a CPU which calculates the difference between the temperature detected by the sensor 5 and the set temperature, a RAM, etc. An alarm generator 9 is also provided to produce an alarm with the control signal given from a control part 7. Then the difference between the detected temperature of the part 3 and said set temperature when the set temperature is changed. The alarm stop time is decided in response to the difference of temperature or this difference and the set temperature. Then the decided alarm stop time is set to a soft timer, for example, provided within the part 7. The part 7 does not drive the generator 9 before the set time reaches zero in order to avoid delivery of the alarm. |
