FIELD: railway transport; detection of foreign article in zone under control. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has capacitive converters installed in near-rail space and pointed with working plate towards zone under control. Working plate is non-solid. Its area is commensurable with area of foreign article projection. Each converter is connected to corresponding channel of measuring instrument. EFFECT: enhanced safety of running vehicle. 4 dwg
