PROCESS FOR REDUCING THE NOTICEABILITY OF ERRORS IN A DIGITAL AUDIO SIGNAL

The unperturbed signal sections are brought together in time, with elimination of the perturbed signals, in order to form a signal free from gaps. This solution enables even rather long interruptions in the signal to be rendered inaudible. In order to compensate for the missing time section, signal portions or pauses produced by a special analysis (signal-energy versus zero) are expanded or repeated before or after the perturbed signal section.
