In a process for rolling metal strip several work rollers (17) are caused to rotate in a planetary manner. In order to create an economic process for continuous transverse rolling, in particular for straightening the metal strip (49) the latter is made to curve following the circular path of the work rollers (17) and is propelled in the direction of the axis of the circular path with at least one movement element, so that the roller paths pass in a spiral manner over the curved metal strip (49). |
