At this time a coupling ring 10 slides to a position where it does not oppose a first stage blade root section 7a, and is fixed to a rotor 1 with bolts 23. Accordingly, a main steam works through second state blades 9, and discharged from an exhaust pipe 5. At this time blades 7 in a high pressure stage are stationary while the coupling ring 10 is alone rotated, and therefore, it is possible to avoid the lowering of the efficiency of the turbine due to the racing of turbine blades, etc. |
