PURPOSE:To provide a heat-sensitive material with a high dynamic color forming sensitivity by arranging octahydro-anthyracene or p-benzylbiphenyl to be contained in a heat-sensitive color forming layer. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material in which a heat-sensitive color forming layer normally containing a colorless to light-colored leuco dye [e.g. 3- (N-methyl-N-cyclohexiasil) amino-7-anilinofluorane] and a developer (e.g. bisphenol A) that allows the leuco dye to form color when heated as main component is provided on a support, octahydroanthracene or p-benxylphenyl is contained in the heat-sensitive color forming layer preferably at a scale-factor of 1-5 per leuco dye. |
