PURPOSE:To provide a mixed hydraulic fluid contg. a plurality of specified Flons as essential components, which has low toxicity, incombustibility and a high efficiency of heat recovery and is esp. useful for Rankine cycle utilizing a relatively low temp. heat source as in power generation by ocean thermal energy conversion. CONSTITUTION:The mixed hydraulic fluid contains (A) (a) chlorotetrafluoroethane and/or (b) chloropentafloroethane and (B) chlorodifluoromethane as essential components. The blend ratios by mol are e.g. 1:1.5-9 for (a)/B and 1:0.05- 1:1.5 for (b)/B. The mixt. has a high efficiency of heat recovery and is esp. effective for application in power generation by Rankine cycle utilizing a relatively low temp. source such as power generation by ocean thermal energy conversion. It is also useful as hydraulic fluid for various heat receovery technics. |
