PURPOSE:To enable the accurate detection of a speed even when a pulse encoder is vibrated, by averaging the frequency of the pulse line from the pulse encoder. CONSTITUTION:A positive or negative pulse separated by a phase/pulse converter 1 is inputted to a code memory flip-flop 2 and, at the same time, inputted to an incremental and decremental counter 5. The output signal carry and bolo from the incremental and decremental counter 5 are added by an OR gate 3 to form the absolute value of a speed signal. The code signal from the code memory flip-flop 2 is inputted to a change detector 4 and, when the change in a code is detected by the detector 4, the value of the incremental and decremental counter 5 is reset to a specific value. |
