PURPOSE:To improve the economical efficiency by controlling the number of workpieces by comparing the predetermined number of workpieces and the number of workpieces for which working is completed, and then automatically stopping working and transportation when the kind of material is different, in the transfer control for the workpiece in a working line. CONSTITUTION:When a workpiece 1 passes through material detectors 12-15 in an automatic operation apparatus for working line, the corresponding counter 22-25 performs counting operation, and memorizes the number of passing in each transfer apparatus 2-5. When the detector 12 operates because of the transported workpiece 1, a comparison and calculating controller 20 checks the counter 22, and if the indication on the counter 22 is zero, the workpiece is unconditionally transported from the transfer apparatus 2 to the apparatus 3. If the indication on the counter 22 is not zero, the subtraction of the indication on the counter 23 from that on the counter 22 is executed, and if the indication on the counter 22 becomes equal to that on the counter 23, the workpiece is allowed to pass, and if the indication on the counter 22 does not become equal to that on the counter 23, the transfer apparatus 2 is stopped. Therefore, the economical working line with high efficiency can be obtained. |
