The telescopic nozzle is composed of several concentric elements, pref. surrounded by a double extensible envelope, attached by a universal swivel to a support beam so as to overhang the loading zone of the ship. At the lower end, is a swivelable hopper resting on the flange of a supply orifice to the hold of the ship. - Pref. a detector cuts the electric supply to the loading conveyor when the hold is full, and an air and dust extractor at the top of the nozzle between it and the outer envelope.
