<p>A calcium carbonate, especially a natural calcium carbonate, is disclosed, which contains 50 to 70% by weight of particles smaller than 1 micron, less than 10% of particles smaller than 0.2 microns, and a BET specific surface area of less than 10 m<2>/g. This calcium carbonate, which is obtained by grinding and classifying, can be used especially as a high-solids coating pigment for gravure printing.</p> |
