<p>The metal to be recovered is maintained in an aqueous solution in dissolved or suspended form; biodegradable organic compounds and optionally nitrogen compounds and phosphorus compounds are added to the aqueous solution; thereupon, the aqueous solution is brought into contact with anaerobic sludge; and the anaerobic sludge, after having been charged with the metal, is dewatered and fed as product to a conventional metal recovery processing stage.</p> |
