PURPOSE:To reduce the area of the register cell by using no opposite-phase signal. CONSTITUTION:On register input circuit is formed of MOSFETs M1-M4; M1 is a P channel MOSFET, M2-M4 are N channel MOSFETs, and M1-M4 are connected in series. The same input control signal W1 is supplied as a gate input to M2 and M3, and the connection point of M2 and M3 is connected to the node (E) of an information holding part consisting of two inverters of M9-M12. Then, MOSFETs M5-M8 form another similar circuit. An output circuit consists of N channel MOSFETs M13 and M14 controlled with output control sigals R1 and R2. Thus, only one main control signal is used (no opposite-phase signal), so the number of control signals decreases. |
