An apparatus for fabricating a knitted fabric is provided to improve a draft device and to prevent the disturbance of fiber strands due to the air flowing rotating together with a pair of supply rollers. The knitting apparatus(18) includes knitting needles and at least one knitting position. The apparatus includes at least one extractor(3) for extracting a strand of a fiber. The extractor is installed at the upper portion of the knitting position and includes a pair of supply rollers for forming a nipping line. Devices are installed closely to the supply roller pair and separate the air current rotating together with the supply roller pair from the region of the nipping line. The devices include an absorption device for separating the air current from the region of the nipping line.
